The room was very clean and comfortable. Girl on reception was lovely chatted to her a couple of times. Free parking. Breakfast was nice, although I would've liked a little more choice other than full English (or variation of) for hot options as im usually an eggs benedict girl. However, it was made fresh and very nice. Stayed for access to liverpool without the price of liverpool central hotels but for an easy drive in on the morning. There are tons of places to eat within minutes walking and the cinema is right there too. TCB chinese was a great experience for food!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and appeared to be either new or recently refurbished - i.e. not shabby or worn. The room was a good size, clean and warm. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet at night - didn't hear a thing, Didn't eat here or have breakfast so can't comment on the food. The bar was suprisingly comfortble and quite busy - and decent prices. Location is good - close to town centre and major retail development with plenty of food choices. 15 minutes walk to the railway station and the rugby ground.

The Mercure Hotel at St. Helens was excellently located to the motorway for my onward travels. The hotel was clearly an excellent corporate venue, and had ample catering services, offering breakfast, lunch and evening meals. However, this facility was closed for renovation during my recent stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The reception staff members who I engaged with were polite, friendly and very helpful; definitely were a shout-out if I could remember their names.

rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and really nice comfy beds.Spa was really good, great jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and good sized pool.we had a few drinks in the hotel bar and Victoria was great, really friendly and helpful, also we had breakfast on the Saturday morning before we went to the races which was really nice, great hotel and friendly staff

The politeness of all the staff from different areas was the most memorable, the room, 306, privilege, was just as it should be, comfortable in all aspects, pleasantly warm all night, there was a wedding event also on but the noise was unobtrusive, the late night pizza ordered was delivered promptly to the room and was just right after a night out.
